Aera’s elegant design blends well into any design environment and can be placed on shelves, consoles, or simply hidden away discreetly. Small enough to easily disguise; beautiful enough to put on display.
That said, where Aera is positioned in the room to be scented is perhaps the most important element to ensure optimal performance and control. It is important to identify a location where the fragrance molecules from Aera can use, rather than fight, the natural air circulation in a room. This is particularly true in air-conditioned spaces. The best location for Aera is near the source, upwind of the airflow.
If you are not sure of the air circulation direction, light a candle and let it burn for 5 seconds. Then, extinguish the flame and watch the direction of the smoke. This is the direction in which Aera’s fragrances will disperse.
TIP: Try different locations and scent levels until you are happy with the scent coverage. Give Aera a little time to equalize the scent after any change in location or scent level.
Aera's compact, sleek design is beautiful enough to complement your decor, but small enough to easily tuck away. If you want your Aera diffuser to be discreet, it can be located behind or under pieces of furniture, provided there is about ten inches (25cm) of space above the diffuser and at least a little air circulation.
CAUTION: Wherever you decide to place your Aera diffuser, make sure it cannot be tipped over. This may cause some fragrance liquid to leak. Keep your diffuser out of reach of children. Avoid getting fragrance liquid on wood or delicate surfaces.
NOTE: The location of Aera MUST NOT be near an HVAC return grill, exhaust fan or vent, or open door or window through which air is leaving the space you wish to scent. Remember, you want Aera to work with the natural air circulation, not against it.
