The Aera Smart 2.0 diffuser is only discoverable within Wi-Fi settings for 10 minutes after you first plug it in. If you are connecting the app more than 10 minutes after you had first set up the diffuser you will need to reset the diffuser. If you have reset the diffuser and the app is still getting stuck while “scanning for Aera networks," force quit and re-open your mobile application by following these steps:
- Double-click your home button.
- Swipe Up on the AeraForHome app.
- Return to your Home screen and re-open the AeraForHome app.
If you continue to experience this problem, try un-installing the application and re-installing the newest version from iTunes.
