Occasionally, the Aera Smart diffuser incorrectly registers a fragrance capsule as empty if the most recent firmware update has not been applied. To ensure that your diffuser is running on the most recent firmware, follow these steps:
1) Open the AeraForHome app.
2) In the top left corner, tap the "menu" line.
3) Select “My Aera.” This will pull up your device(s).
4) Select the diffuser in question. The app will show you the device details. The firmware should read "Aera 0_50" or higher (ie "Aera 0_51"). If it reads an earlier version, leave your diffuser connected for 48 hours. It should automatically update to the latest firmware within that time frame.
If your diffuser does not update automatically after 48 hours, contact Customer Care.
