About the App

Your Aera and Aera Mini diffuser is equipped with smart technology, which means it can be controlled remotely via the AeraForHome app. Available to download on iOS and Android, the app gives you the ability to control your diffuser from anywhere you have a wireless connection. This expanded control offers the convenience of creating custom scenting schedules, monitoring fragrance levels, ordering fragrance refills, and even reducing costs. 

*Please note: Aera ‘Touch’ diffusers or Aera diffusers purchased through hotels are not equipped with smart technology and cannot be controlled through the app. 

Scheduling 

You can create schedules for a custom scenting experience on the days and times that suit your preference. The scheduling function has the capability to include different operating periods and strength settings in the same day. Each operating period can have its own scent level. For example, you might have a scent schedule for a few hours in the morning at level 5 and then several hours at night on level 2. 

TIP: Scheduling your Aera diffusers to scent only when someone is present can reduce your fragrance usage and cost. 

Remote Control/Remote Monitoring 

The app gives you full control from anywhere your smartphone has a wireless connection. You can remotely control your diffuser, so it is always ready when you want. Turn it on while you are out, set a schedule to run at just the right time, or simply check your fragrance levels. 

Scent Monitoring 

This app tracks fragrance usage and provides alerts on the percentage of fragrance oil remaining in a capsule. You can easily monitor your favorite fragrances and order refill capsules all from the app. 

Multiple Diffuser Control  

Aera is designed to be modular. The AeraForHome app can manage up to 20 diffusers and offers full control of each from one user account. For example, you may decide to place four Aera diffusers in four separate rooms, each with their own unique fragrance. You can schedule run times and scent levels for all four diffusers with your smartphone. 

Playing Multiple Scents  

Switching fragrance capsules is simple and easy, but you can also achieve the perfect ambiance by using multiple Aera diffusers in harmony. Each Aera diffuser can have its own scent. You might have two Aera diffusers with different fragrances in the same space to create a layering effect. Or you can use your smartphone to switch back and forth depending on your preference. Better yet, you can use the AeraForHome app to set up alternating schedules for each, so the scent changes automatically at pre-set times. 

Ordering from the Store 

The AeraForHome app offers convenient ordering within the app. You can monitor fragrance capsule levels and reorder when your favorite fragrances are low.
