iOS Setup Instructions

Start scheduling your custom home fragrance experience!

Before you begin, ensure that the Aera that you are connecting is powered on and within range of your Wi-Fi access point. If you have multiple diffusers to connect, unplug the other diffusers until you are ready to connect them.

Download & install the AeraForHome app from the App Store. Once installed, launch the AeraForHome app. You will be prompted to enter your email address, your name, and create a password.

Once you are logged in, select “+ Add a Diffuser.”

Select “Aera” to connect an Aera Diffuser, or “Aera Mini” to connect an Aera Mini.

Connecting an Aera Diffuser:

1. On your mobile device, navigate to Settings > WiFi, and select the “Aera-xxxxxxxx” WiFi signal, and navigate back to the AeraForHome app, and tap “Continue.”
   If you do not see your Aera's WiFi signal in your WiFi settings, click here.
   Note: You may receive an error when redirecting to the app. If so, tap "OK," and navigate back to the app manually.
2. Locate and select your local WiFi network from the list. When prompted, enter your WiFi network’s password, and tap “Submit.” Tap “Continue” on the bottom of the screen, and the device will begin connecting to your network.
   If you receive an error message during connection, click here.
3. Once connected, you can name your device.

Connecting an Aera Mini:

1. The app should display “Diffuser Found”. Tap on the name of the diffuser.
   If your diffuser is not found, click here.
   
   
2. Locate and select your local WiFi network from the list. When prompted, enter your WiFi network’s password, and tap “Submit.” Tap “Continue” on the bottom of the screen, and the device will begin connecting to your network.
   If you receive an error message during connection, click here.
3. Once connected, you can name your device.
